I have skate boarding, snow boarding, wake boarding, wave boarding experience.
At first it looks difficult, but once working in pairs pupils pick it up really quickly and get a real sense of achievement! Teamwork, a challenge and experience something new and cool!
It works really well as an extra curricular activity and in KS 4 core PE lessons. A highlight was watching different pupils coming along to extra-curricular clubs and doing well at something new.
The key aspects I see is it’s a different activity, develops social skills, teamwork, self confidence and a real sense of achievment
Try it the kids will love it!
