Since 2006, from the moment the wave board reached UK shores, originators Curriculum Ex have been teaching Street Surfing during and after school time.
Our comprehensive package and online learning centre “The Wave Board Academy” equips key staff with CPD approved training and continuing support, schemes of work with attainment levels, and video analysis at KS3 & KS4, and guides for SportsLeaderUK approved assessors to work with Street Surfing to award SportsLeader Level 1 awards. Our instructor base means we can be called upon to demonstrate and instruct the cutting edge of the activity, and help sustain clubs.
We have a background in Surfing, Snowboarding, Skateboarding and as such are best placed to open avenues to these sports, as well as develop the freestyle and team nature of the activity.
