Outside, any hardcourt type surface is suitable for Street Surfing- the smoother the better to appreciate the natural glide.
Indoors the boards work on most sportshall surfaces, the only exception being the “spongy” vinyl “skid proof” types.
Surfaces should either be flat or with a marginal incline and further requirements are available in the risk assessment.
