Teaching Street Surfing is very rewarding as you witness new input from pupils who are not usually engaged by PE.
Professional training is offered to key staff- proficiency courses, insight, safety, maintenance and use of the online learning resource to deliver curriculum learning.
Your role as supervisor means you can draw on your own expertice to ensure pupil’s work safely on tasks laid out in the scheme of work.
Leading by demonstration is not necessary as The Waveboard Academy focuses on the teacher’s role as overseer and reinforces the sense of pupil ownership.
However we encourage as much as possible overseers to work at the same skills developed throughout the course.
